| Aug. 12, UTT Olympic Day was held. Approximately 40 residence from Ashbrooke, Scenic Manor and Cedar Ridge attended, along with about 20 of our tumblers. Four Countries were represented - Japan, China, Russia and the USA . Six of the tumblers parents were good sports and they represented the other countries, to bad they didn't have enough athletes to have a full team, however; team USA had a full team. Competition was held on floor, trampoline and double mini. Team USA took the gold every time. The residence were the judges. At the end of the Olympics each of the tumblers introduced themselves, received a medal and a red rose with a red, white and blue ribbon for themselves and one to present to each of our guests. Everyone had a good time, and it was nice to see the girls put a smile on someone else's face. GO UTT - USA!!! | ||
